Which plan is right for my child’s age?
Choose the Baby Plan if your baby is a newborn through the first year. Choose Watch Me Grow if your child is between 18 months and 4 years old. If your child is close to the overlap, we’ll help you choose the plan that makes the most sense.
What if my baby is already a few months old?
That’s OK. The Baby Plan is designed around milestones, not just dates. If you missed the newborn stage, we can still capture belly time, sitting, first birthday, and 18 months. o
Can I start Watch Me Grow if my child is already 2 or 3?
Yes. Watch Me Grow is available to children in the 18-month-to-4-year range. If your child is already past one of the earlier milestones, we can talk through the best way to use the plan going forward, extending the 4 sessions through older ages. What’s important is creating regular images to capture the growth of your child!
Why book a plan instead of separate sessions?
A plan gives you a more complete story and comes with a savings. Instead of remembering one age, you’ll have a connected collection that shows how your child changes across several meaningful stages. Most families then create a custom album of the images from the entire plan, making it a treasured family heirloom.
Can I book Watch Me Grow without doing the Baby Plan?
Yes. Watch Me Grow is open to any family with a child between 18 months and 4 years old. It can be a continuation of the Baby Plan, but it does not have to be.
Can I do both plans?
Yes. Many families begin with the Baby Plan and continue into Watch Me Grow to preserve the full story from newborn through age 4. It is our most complete early-childhood collection. Families who do both plans receive 2 sessions complimentary.
What makes these ages so special?
The Baby Plan captures the fastest physical changes: tiny newborn details, first expressions, sitting up, and first-birthday sweetness. Watch Me Grow captures the next kind of change: personality, confidence, independence, movement and all the little expressions that make your child completely themselves.
Do all four sessions have to look the same?
No. Each session can have its own feel. You can mix studio and outdoor settings, seasonal looks, simple milestone setups, favorite outfits, props, and/or family and sibling images.
Are family and siblings included?
Yes. Family and siblings are welcome at any or all sessions. Some families include everyone each time, while others save family images for one or two sessions and keep the rest focused on the child.
What is included with each session?
Each session includes eight digital images and a preview appointment where you’ll see the images and choose your favorites. The majority of families invest in additional digitals and products to beautifully display their images but it is not required.
Can we use studio props, outfits, and sets?
Yes. Both plans include use of available studio sets, props and outfits. We’ll help choose what fits your child’s age, personality and the look you want for each session.
Can some sessions be outdoors?
Yes. Both plans can include a combination of studio and outdoor sessions, depending on the season, your child’s age and the style you want across the full plan.
What if my toddler won’t sit still?
That is completely normal. Toddler and preschool sessions are built around real kids — movement, silliness, snack breaks, cuddles and all. The goal is not perfection. The goal is capturing who they are at each stage.
Do I have to schedule all four sessions right away?
No. We’ll plan the general timing based on your child’s age and milestones, then schedule each session as you move through the plan.
Is this a good gift?
Yes. The Baby Plan or Watch Me Grow plan can be a meaningful gift from grandparents or close family, especially for families who value printed memories and milestone images.
What happens after the plan ends?
After your final session, you’ll have a complete milestone collection from that stage of your child’s life. Many families continue with yearly family sessions, birthday sessions or seasonal portraits as their child grows.
